Hiding lines where lining paper meets

Hi,

I put up linning paper on my walls.

The joining lines where still visible after a first layer of paint.

So I then decided to paint of the lines and let it dry.

I am now going to do a full coat of paint.

Someone has mentioned you will be able to see the paint i have put on inbetween coats.

Is this correct and if so how can I rectify it?

Many thanks for any help.

Jim

Go ahead and try your next coat it may cover ok. Your friend is right though but it is "may be able" not "will be able" to see them. If the lines or areas of paint continue to show threw use a primer/sealer coat. What color are you covering with?
