help! kerdi in bathroom not sticking

Hi all i have a problem i am installing that orange kerdi membrane in my shower over cement board and i know it calls for unmodified morter thats what the schluter dealer sold me. its been 24hrs and it seems i can grab a corner of the membrane and pull it off the wall. it is supposed to become part of the wall rite.i went over it and got the air pockets out also i used there kerdi trowl witht the proper grooves any suggestions

I'm surprised nobody responeded to this. Did you mix your mortar correctly? It's the only potential problem that comes to my mind.

As Jim said, the thinset needs to be on the thin side to adhere the kerdi.

Use "modified" thinset over cement board and once it dries don't be tugging on it.

Unmodified should still work but don't be trying to pull it apart. If you have air bubbles you haven't installed it properly. Your best bet may be to pull it all down and start over.
