Follow up: seam question

Is it necessary to tape the seams between the drywall and durock even though the bullnose tile will cover up the seam? Also, I am not tiling to the ceiling, so should the greenboard to durock seam (on the wall heading to the ceiling) be taped? A bullnose tile will also be placed along this seam. I asked in the drywall section of this forum, and was told that since the seam will be covered, there really isn't a need to tape it. Anyone recommend otherwise?
