Floor in BATH
The home is on a slab and we want to knock down a nonload wall and make the bath bigger and add a shower and garden tub... which is easier to do... chip a 6-8" deep trough thru the cement slab to run the lines OR build a solid sub floor and run the lines under it.?
Also do I have to take it to the rafters and put up mold resistant dry wall or can I seal it with paint/coating?
Open the floor to rearrange the plumbing---
Regular drywall is fine in a bathroom---except in wet areas--there you want a waterproofed tile backer.
