Double sink in a small base cabinet??

We are putting in new cabinets. I can only fit a 30" sink base or I will have to forgo an entire base cabinet next to it leading to my back door. My wife really wants a double sink... but only a very small one would fit in a 30" cabinet... does anyone have any experience with a very small double sink that they can offer some advice... my gut says if it has to be that small, it isn't worth doing. She really wants to get the drying dishes off the counter though.

I guess it's not absolutely out of the question to go 36" base and lose the 12" cabinet next to it if it comes to that...

That second one looks great but I don't think it will fit... For a 30" cabinet I think I'll need something like a 27" sink for undermount to the granite...
