Countertop meets backsplash space issue

We recently removed a formica backsplash, tiled over the formica countertop with ceramic tiles and added a tin backsplash. I'm pleased with the results; however, I am having difficulty deciding how to finish off where the counter meets the backsplash..due to the countertop not being 100% straight there is a space (sometimes large, sometimes small) where the two meet. I'm trying to come up with a solution other than caulking.

I was thinking shoe molding (painted or stained) would hide the spaces but I'm worried that won't look right. I've done some internet searches on ceramic shoe molding but I'm coming up empty.

Thoughts/ideas?

i think trim/moulding may be your best option. Lowe's sells a type of ceramic trim that resembles bullnose except it is square on the back so that it will sit against the back wall. they come in small pieces, so it might cost a bit, but thats the best suggestion i can offer.
