Counter top weight question

I am thinking about putting in concrete countertops in my kitchen. Are there deflection issues I need to consider with my floor like there are when laying tile floor??

Well of course! It depends on how your floor and cabinets are structured now.

What size are your floor joists?
What is their spacing?
What is the unsupported span of the joists?
What is the subfloor cover made of and how thick is it?
When was the house built?
In what region of the country?

Describe how your cabinets are built.
