Counter top repainting?

I want to paint the counter tops in our kitchen. We just bought and moved in our new home last October. Aside from paiting, I have not touched the kitchen as of yet. Has anyone ever used this before?http://www.rustoleumtransformations.com/

Paint does not last well on countertops, and i wonder about it being safe for food prep.

There's a reason you never see painted counters.

Well, the thing is, mine are painted or faux finished from the previous owner. We plan on redoing the entire kitchen in a few years and this product is not really a paint per say.

Save your money. You don't want this stuff in your food.
