Cementboard


I am redoing my shower and bought cementboard for thentile.
Do I butt the joints together and put the tile mortar on there without sealing
The joints first ?

Cementboard


On walls you butt the edges then use alkali resistant seam tape over the seams as you apply the tile.


What is "thentile"?
