Cabinets To Go!

I tried to use Cabinets To Go.

Problem is that they are out of stock on some items, and when I was told they'll be in stock shortly, they never were.

I'm talking about a 7 month time span.

Shortly is 7 months?

Besides I found a local place selling very similar RTA cabinets for less.

Cabinets To Go!

Finally checking into the forum to see how CTG has fared with you all. Getting mixed results has my wife and I re-thinking our plan to use CTG. I found a retired co-worker that is also a cabinet maker, so I'll have him chime in on our planned kitchen remodel.

Just to clarify things to Danger Mouse, I'm not an agent or "shill" for CTG. I'm a retired Los Angeles City firefighter wanting to update a dated kitchen and I value the honest opinions of the people who frequent this forum. That's all.

Cabinets To Go!

Well I have a small conpany a few min. outisde of Boston. I do have comments on CTG kitchen cabinets. WHAT A BANG FOR YOUR BUCK! we have installed 10 CTG kitchens in the past couple years along with other lines. We are snobs when it comes to quality so I myself was quite surprised in the quality of these cabinets: Solid wood doors, plywood boxes, dovetail in almost all their lines, full extension drawers along with soft close. Yes some assembly required but the savings is many thousands of dollars. Yes,I have put these in homes 1/2 mill or better. People want a good product for their buck without going into debt. Check them out!

You've raised some extremely valid points and I appreciate your opinion. I, to, am sick and tired of all the garbage we import from overseas while we lose precious jobs here. My wife and I are planning on putting our house on the (sucky) real estate market this Spring. Our kitchen is clean and functionally, but tired, worn and dated. It hasn't been remodeled since 1978. We thought Cabinets To Go would save us a pretty penny but now I am concerned about the quality, as well. Time for more research.

Cabinets To Go!

I'm using this cabinet line in my kitchen remodel but I didn't purchase them through Cabinets to Go. I went with the Victoria Ivory collection. Anyone have any experience with this collection? I had a neighbor who is a carpenter look at a door given to me by the kitchen remodeling co we are using & he said it was a very well made door. That made me feel better because there is very limited information on the web about these cabinets. I would be curious to hear from owners who've had the cabinets installed for a number of years and to know how they are holding up.
