We're in the process of planning a full bathroom remodel and are looking at replacing the existing tub/shower combo with a separate shower stall and a standalone tub. Space is at a premium, and we're thinking of putting the tub under a sloped ceiling. It would be along the wall lengthwise, so the slope would go up from one side of the tub to the other, rather than from the head/foot to the other end. There would be no shower head for it.
Before I go any further down this path I'm trying to determine if there are any code issues with doing it. The ceiling is 4' high against the wall and slopes at about 45 degrees. We live in Edmonton, Alberta.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
