Bathroom- Shower Door Magnet

Firstly, hi all I'm new here. Just bought a house recently and so I hope to learn a lot from you all and of course as I learn I hope to pass that on to others who have similar experiences as me.

So here is my dilemma. My framed shower door magnet need replaced. The door keeps swinging open and won't stay shut. I'm trying to remove the magnet but I can't figure out how to. There are 2 screws (top and bottom) of the side of the door but it doesn't look like that affects the magnet. I've also tried tugging at it from the top or bottom to try to pull it out and that hasn't worked either. Am I not tugging hard enough or am I missing something?

Thanks for the help! I can provide pictures if needed as well

Bathroom- Shower Door Magnet

Removing and replacing magnetic strips on your shower door is quite easy so if your are having difficulties, then you must be doing it the wrong way.
To remove the magnetic strip, you need to remove the latch first because this holds the magnet into place. You mentioned something about screws? Those must be the ones you need to unscrew to remove the latch and expose the strip. When you are done unscrewing and removing the latch, it will be easier to peel the magnet off.
This is indeed a common problem when you have swinging framed shower doors...fortunately this can be managed by doing a simple repair.
