Bath Exhaust Fan Vaulted Ceiling

Bathroom Remodel -- We are removing a wall which seperates the shower from the rest of the bathroom. With the wall gone I need to relocate the fan, as it will be sitting at the bottom of the vaulted ceiling. Should I move the fan as high as I can go on the 12' vaulted ceiling, or place it directly in the middle of the ceiling?

I figured the higher the better!
