haha, that's a good one (humor and reality), but what if you don't have gym membership? obviously you wouldn't want to pay for the access other than may a free trial signup.

another alternative, is if your workplace has shower facilities, use those for the time being. Or go to friends/relatives house and freeload on shower a bit.

no joke. ive done it.. not do to lack of a working shower but do to lack of hot water via a hurricane blowing through town from which knocked a tree over tearing the service right off the house.. 10 days without power because the city was in state of disaster.

if you need the shower that bad. get the work done. get it tiled asap and get the plumber to hook up the fixtures.. using it before its ready is just plain stupid.. too many things can go wrong

thanks. but 1st of all, the fixtures (minus the cover plates) are done before the final cosmetics, including tile. 2nd of all, i am the plumber. all the plumbing is done already.

i had been using the shower when it had just the studs around, with vapor barrier used to block spray and sprinkle around.

it will be a couple weeks before i can put the tile cause the final cosmetic i don't like to do myself, i.e. will outsource.

i do have another shower in the basement
