Worcester 24cdi boiler

Hi, I've recently moved into a new home to find that the boiler is around 10-15 years old.

The water gets hot but it doesn't get really hot - when trying to run the bath just now the water kept flitting from hot to cold.

So...the pressure needle is just above 1 and the hot water dial is positioned on the third bar.

Should we put the hot water dial to the fourth bar or will that not make any difference??

help!!

Is this a boiler with a hot water coil or a standalone water heater? A picture of the unit might help.

Do you have hot water heat in the house?
