Will faucet handle from one brand fit another?

people,

I am buying a new bidet faucet set. They sell them as (without handles", . My current faucet would still be working if it wasnt for the vacuum breaker, so the handles are perfectly fine. They are American Standard "Hampton" series, and Im buying a new Delta faucet.

Should my old handles fit? Any way to be sure?

Thanks
