Whole house vs under sink/shower filtration systems?

We have rural water, not a well, and would like to know if a whole house filter or under sink/shower head water filters would be best? Or both? Water analysis from the water plant is as follows: nitrate - less than 0.2 mg/l, flouride-1.23mg/l, chloride-14mg/l, iron-less than .03mg/l, manganese-less than .02mg/l, sulfate-215mg/l, bicarbonate-50mg/l, calcium-38mg/l, magnesium-12 mg/l, hardness(calc)-144mg/l, sodium-63mg/l, potassium-7mg/l, ph-8.98.I was diagnosed with breast cancer in march 2012. I just completed my chemo & radiation and really want to make life changes so I can avoid going thru this again. Please help. Thank u!
