I don't have a comment as to which is better but compare horsepower of motors, the bigger the stronger the jets. I put in an American Standard jetted tub a few years ago and the only thing I wish I knew was my hot water heater isn't big enough for the size of the tub, especially in the winter when the cold water is outside cold.

What size is your water heater?

52 gallons. My tub is 6 feet and very deep but I'm not sure how many gallons it holds.

The American Standard I posted is L60" X W32" X D20" and holds 55 gallons. The other is roughly the same dimensions. I have a 40 gal WH.

FYI my not water issues are only in the winter when the cold water coming in from outside is extra cold. I also can't turn the temp up on my water heater. My tub is 72 x 35 x 20 so I think you are safe but might want to ask a plumber just incase.

Unless your set on on of these two tubs you might consider a bubble tub. It uses air to accomplish the same thing a pressure water. I've never owned a whirlpool tub, I have been in a couple and there was a funk about them...no doubt in my mind that they were not maintained properly. Here's some food for thought about issues with bacteria. As for the water temperature, many have at least an option of an inline water heater.
