where to put main vent

i am adding 1.5 bath and a kitchen to 1 st floor of a 3plex. there is no existing venting.

the 2 toilets are about 7' away from the 4" main stack. and other drains are kinda surrounding the toilets.

i dont know if i should:

1. put the main vent ringt on top of main stack-- then i need to run auxilary venting for every drain;

2, or, put the main vent right where the toilet drains are -- then i only need to run a couple of aux venting, though the main vent is not on top of main stack(does that matter?)

what would you suggest?

thanks

right now, frame is up w/o drywall, so either way is possible.

There is no difference on the plumbing side?
