Where does Heater Drip Pan Drain Go in Condo?

I'm trying to figure out where a drainage pipe is running in my NJ condo. I live in a condo with a first and second floor. My hot water heater is located on the second floor. The drip pan connects to vertical PVC, which then runs down my closet wall on my first floor and into the concrete floor. My question is, where does this drain go? I believe there are 3 possibilities:

1. It eventually connects to an indirect waste receptor in the foundation.
2. The pipe isn't connected to the plumbing and drains directly into the gravel under the foundation.
3. The pipe isn't connected to the plumbing and is routed away from the foundation underground.

Does anyone have insight into how this is set up? Thanks in advance!

It should be connected to the storm drainage system.

This one:
3. The pipe isn't connected to the plumbing and is routed away...
