Where do I find the most DURABLE outdoor showerhead kit under $150.

My husband loved the outdoor shower we used in the Outer Banks. I would like to surprise him by installing one at our home. I selected a spot near the rear of our home within 10 feet of our basement hot water tank, W&D, and outside hose spigot. We don't need anything fancy, just a shower head and knobs, which I hope to surround with cedar tongue and groove enclosure, over 6" ground of pebbles covered by decking floor. Suggestions to keep this simple and as inexpensive as possible?

How about wayyyyyyy under $150?
Then even if it proves un-durable (it won't) you can afford to replace it.

Look for a "jet" sprayer like this one. Works great.
About $15 at Ace in March when I last bought one.

For the mixer valve--I suggest a Moen single handle unit--the guts are rugged and the base model is less than $100--

I suggest you use a tub mixer---it will be handy to have a spout down low---often you will want to wash your feet only, before entering the house.

Use PEX piping if it is allowed in your area--PEX has the best freeze/thaw rating of the commonly available piping.

One key thing is where do you live? Plumbing on an outside wall in a freeze zone is not a good thing.
A valve that I have used in the past for an outside shower is this one.

I used the vertical one so I could run the pluming in a wall and out through a wall stud. I used a jumbo siding block on the outside wall then ran the siding around it.

I live in Maryland, so we would have to drain the water out of pipes and turn off supply each winter

If you do as I suggest it's as simple as disconnecting the hose from the faucet.
