When a wax seal should be replaced.

Wax seal on our toilet leaked because of a blocked sewer line. Blocked line has since been fixed. Should the wax seal be replaced now that it has leaked once?

Any time a seal leaks it's time to change it. It's about a $3.00 piece and DIY 101.

And, just an FYI, the blockage didn't cause the leak, it just allowed water to stand at the connection and expose the leak.
Spend $5 and get the kit that includes closet bolts, too, unless they still look new.
