What system to purchase for 10,000 sq feet home with seven baths

I've been shown a system (non-electrical) called the Kinetico 2060s and a second drinking unit (home water system) for $4500 installed. Does anyone have any experience with this system....how much maintenance from the home owner is really involved? We have a well....so no electric no water....would an electrical system work superior? We have a very high iron content...very hard water.
Thank you

High iron and hardness, might you have the numbers?

What kind of water out put from the well? as in how many gallons per minute from the pump?

1" line from the well or is it larger?

It could be that some kind of twin system.

From what I have seen around here high iron and Kinetico's just do not play well together, but that does not mean it would be the same there.

It is always better to state quantitative numbers rather than "very high". Sizing any softener is only done after water quality and usage is understood.
