What to do with short supply line for sink faucet?

I have a need for a 7" flexible supply line to connect my new sink faucet to my shut-off valve. From looking in my local hardware store and on line, it seems that 9" is the shortest flexible supply line commonly made. Is this true? 9 inches crimps pretty badly. Should I buy a longer supply line and put a loop in it? Surely there is another option? Thanks for your help!

Yes, longer line and put a loop in it. The other option is to make up hard lines, but that is often difficult for a DIY, getting just the right bends and length can be intimidating.

A 9" stainless steel flex supply line should be able to make the offset without kinks. Other than that, go with the longer one and a loop.

For what it is worth I have become fond of the gray plastic supply lines. They cut easily with a utility knife and are very flexible and inexpensive.
