what to do with the sealed flange?

Hi there,
We have had an addition build on to our house for my mother-in-law. The plumbers that did the rough in used a sealed flange like thing for the toilet sewer pipe. What are we supposed to do with it? (Sorry if I am not using the correct terms). There is no hole in it, and it seems to be glued down tight.
Thanks so much
Smile

They probably used a toilet flange with a knockout in it. Just take a hammer and smack the center of the flange. The knockout should come out with one or two strikes. Be careful though, it is possible to drop the knockout down into the drain.
