what 1 handle tub faucet

Interested in 1 handle tub faucet kit. Approx $200 or less to spend. Looked at Moen, Delta etc... at Home Depot and Lowes. Thanks.

You mean a mixing valve? Those are fairly easy to plumb.

No, not just the mixing valve but the showerhead and tub spout.

Both brands are fine that you mentioned. Easy to find parts for and good customer support.

Add Kohler to the list,also---Moen-Delta and Kohler are good brands with parts easily available.

Moen is my first choice for ease of install and maintenance---

be careful buying at box stores for plumbing valve most have cheaper internal parts and more expensive to replace parts.

i personally like the delta multi choice valve with the 1700 series it is able to control volume and temp separate but in a stack hard to explain look at link

http://www.deltafaucet.com/search/re...ml?q=17+series

and if you do ever get a drip it is easy to fix with a quad ring kit and free just call delta

Ive got a collection of old junk my wife likes to call it including 3 55 chevy 2 dr sedans, more chevy trucks from the 40s-70s than i like to try and count, model A fords Ive even got a couple 28 oaklands.(pre-pontiacs)
Im pretty much an equal oportunity offender when it comes to pack ratting, nothing wrong with any of them to the right person.
Same thing goes for faucets/furnaces/ac's.............,99% of it comes down to the install and how its taken care of
