Wet vent question
I will be using about 4 feet of a 2 inch pipe for wet venting a toilet. 2' horizontal and 2 feet vertical. In a typical vent installation, the vent comes off of the top of the drain pipe. In a wet vent situation, the drain is used. So I am wondering about the angles that the 2" pipe will need to enter the 3 inch pipe as a wet vent. Is it just a standard horizontal slope of 1/4 inch per foot?
It shouldn't enter on the top...right? |

Wet vent question
in my code, you can only wet vent in the vertical, its a big no no horizontally. you might check that you're allowed to do it before you do

Wet vent question
The code discusses wet venting horizontally. Just difficult to understand the terminology. I believe I can go up to 6 feet with a pipe size one over the required for drainage of the upstream fixture. In my case that would be 2".
