yes the water line is 1" plastic. the one i took off was brass- i will look for a stainless 1 if thats better.
i had an acid nuetralizer put in a year ago and contemplating a softner-harness is right on the line of needing one now that a nutralizer is installed.....
i did the hand over hand pull while the helper walked the end of the line away
