well pump testing
how do you know if your well pump is operating.I have no water pressure and have replaced pressure switch on tank. When i plug it in nothing happens.

What type of pump do you have jet pump, shallow well, deep well? Is there a pressure gauge anywhere and if so what is the reading on it? Has a main shut off valve been accidently turned off? I assume you checked the breaker?
