well pump pressure going down


hi everyone, i am a pretty much do it yourselfer, but am having a problem with my well pump pressure going down to like 25 psi and then kicking back up to 55 psi ,and there is no water being run anywhere . would like some feedback if possible

With nothing running, I'd guess bad check valve.

well pump pressure going down


You obviously have a leak, whether at the check valve, as DM mentioned, the line from the well to the house, or within the house. I would start by closing the valve after the tank, then watching the gauge, and you should be able to determine which side of that the leak is on. Do you have a submersible or jet pump? More details will result in more relevant replies.

bad check valve or hole in pipe from well to holding tank...
