water seeping up from around outside of well head weve had alot of rain and snow.

Not a lot of information to go on, so the only thing that I can suggest at this point is to make sure all of your faucets, etc. are off, to ensure that you are not running water any place, and then watch your pressure gauge and/or listen to see if your pump somes on. If you have no water running, and your pressure drops, which will, of course, cause your pump to come on, you probably have a leak in the line from the well to your home.

sorry i should have been more in depth. noticed last week the well head was covered up to the top with snow. today i saw the snow was melted four feet around it, when i went out to look water was bubbling up around the out side of it. i just built up pressure now i'll watch to see if it drops.

Thank you for expounding, and yes, based on your second post, it definitely sounds like the line is ruptured, or possibly a fitting at the casing is corroded. That line is probably about 5' deep, so your best course of action may very well be to call your well driller.

Yup! Had the well head dug up by the time my well guy got here, It's the fitting,thanx for the in put.
