Waterite water softner


I have a waterite water softner that when it isnt bypassed I turn the tap on great pressure and the go's to nothing, I have removered my fiberglass tank and the sand is up to the top. Here is the thing my brother had a water softner the head unit went so I have his tank and put it on my unit but is is smaller in size. Is this ok or will I run into a problem......I will post a pic of my tank with the sand to the top....What has happened to it...any help greatly appreciated.....Derek

Waterite water softner


The stuff at the top of the tank looks more like resin.

If your system has sand, then a sand filter is going to be needed or it will happen again.
