Water Supply Lines For Washing Machine
 

Someone vandalized my home and cut all the copper plumbing out. In looking at my washing machine supply lines I can't figure why I have two hot water and two cold water supply lines. I've never seen this before. Why are there two lines for each supply?

No reason for that I can think of. Unless maybe the washer was moved to a different location at some point. It's also not beyond possibility that some previous owner had two washing machines.

Or there was a slop sink at one time.
