Water Stopped Coming to My Toilet
I sometimes turn off the water valve on my toilet upstairs, as it will keep filling up the bowl during the night. (thats a seperate problem I need to fix).
Anyway, when I got up this morning, I flushed it and noticed it didn't fill back up. I figured the water valve was closed, so I went to open it, but it was already open. I tried closing it and then reopening it, but nothing...it didn't make a sound. There was no water coming in to my toilet.
What could be causing this? I'm in Houston, and we didn't have any freezing weather last night.
The house was built in 1991.
probably some type of sediment is plugging your ballcock assy.in the toilet.probably caused by turning the supply stop on and off.make sure the water is off to toilet and clean the fill valve.
Same issue, welcome to the club, no water to toilet
:eek:I have the same problem, I removed my hose that connects the valve to toilet, still no water. The sink and tub seems to be fine, don't seem to have lost any water pressure, so I dont think its a leak. Need the same help, was getting a lil noise in the pipes, also.
Turn the water off to the toilet
Disconnect the water supply to the toilet.
Get a bucket and hold the supply line in the bucket.
Turn the water back on, if you have pressure, replace the fill valve.
If you don't have pressure replace the shut off valve.
If that doesn't work , you have a nice little project on your hands.
