Water Softner Question...

When I moved the water softner I hooked up the conenctions backwards.
It was about 2 weeks before I realized that the sand in the system was coming from that and not some rural water issue.

Do I need to replace the softner or will everything work out OK?

What should I be looking for?

I have already cleaned out aerators, valves and the assorted toilet items of the sandy like substance.

Thanks in advance.

Water Softner Question...

Have you changed the in and out fittings to the correct in and out?
Depending on the make and model of the system in question as to will the system return to normal operation or some thing else will be needed to make things right.
