Water Softener started regenerating when I was changing the water filter
I was in the process of changing the whole-house water filter (with water flow turned off) when suddenly the water softener started its regeneration cycle.
I knew that wasn't good so I quickly finished the filter change and turned the water back on. When I turned it back on, I could tell there was a significant amount of air in the line for the water softener (making all sorts of 'sucking' noise).
My question is this: do I need to bleed the air out of the line, or will it eventually pass the air completely through the water softener?
