Water softener connection question
My old Whirlpool water softener decided to kick the bucket, and I've decided I'm going to order a Fleck softener online to replace it. I'm having a little trouble, though, because I'm not sure which connection type I should get.
They say they include a free 1 1/4" Plastic Bypass.
They also list connection types for 1.0 inch plastic, 1.25 inch copper sweat, and 1.0 inch copper sweat.
Here's the pictures of my current water softener connection. Any help would be appreciated.
Looks like the pipes on the wall is 3/4 with a male end and then the black tube to the softener bypass.. while the bypass might be 1" it looks like it is reduced to 3/4..
So my idea would be to get some thing like the 5600 SXT with plastic bypass and 3/4 plastic yoke.
Just an idea.
