water pressure problem

Hi my sister has been having a problem with water pressure to her shower on the 2nd floor, she is on a well and has problems with hard water, the strange thing is that it only seems to be a problem with that shower and its intermittent, the shower will start off good then go to a trickle and then it will be ok and so on. any ideas? I replaced her pressure switch but that didnt do it. thanx Kevin

Always start by removing the shower head and working backward from there to look for pressure problems, the well is at the beginning of the system, start from the end...the shower head, remove it and see if the pressure is good, shower heads easily clog with debris due to all the flow restriction of water saving devices. I am assuming what you say is correct about the problem only being at the shower.
