Water Main Shutoffs

Anybody have any experience with those automatic shutoffs that close the main coming into the house to avoid major water damage in case of a leak? I'm looking for recommendations for a customer who had massive($65K) damage due to faulty plumbing in a country house. I would like it to be able to integrate it into the alarm system so notification follows the water main closure.
Thanks.
Ron

Water Main Shutoffs

I have installed one that i think was called flood stop. It didn't hook up to an alarm system but i do believe they make some that will and call when it detects a leak. the one i used uses a sensor which you lay on the flood and it water gets on it it send s a signal to the control which closes a solinoid valve which you install the the main.

Jim, that sounds similiar to the, Water Cop unit I've seen. You put the sensors in locations that will likely be the source of the problem. the Water Cop will link up to a home alarm which is nice for a vacation house that's empty alot.
I'll check out the Flood Stop unit. Thanks.
