water heater leak from the top

my water heater is leaking from the hose that connects to my main water line. im trying to shut off the water to the water heater without shutting off water to the whole house, but i dont see a shut off valve any suggestions?

if you don't have a shutoff, then turning off the main supply is likely your only option. You could shut off the main, install a shutoff at the heater, then turn main back on. Shouldn't take long.
