Water heater leak?

I moved in to a house about 3 years ago and have noticed a trickle of water starting to pool at the base of the water heater. The heater is a Reliant 501. I know alot of houses with attic water heaters in Texas are burstin because of the heat. But mine is inside and the leaking is not substantial. My first thought was a spill, but after cleaning it up the pool came back in about two hours. Any other thoughts?

Water heater leak?

Check all the connections first, if there all dry then suspect the tank could be leaking, replacement will be needed if the tank is the problem.
