Water Heater

I have to buy a new water heater. Home Depot offers GE, Lowes offers Whirlpool. Any suggestions on which is better? Do they need to be the same size?

Whatever you buy, check the Energy Efficiency sticker (yellow and black) on the side of the unit. Read the warranty info. Make sure the warranty is good if it is installed by yourself. Also see what action needs to be taken if there is a problem. Good luck.

Don't forget about the tankless Gas water heaters. This is the last year for the $300 tax credit.
