why does the gas valve on bradford white high efficiency water heater flash a gas valve default code

what would be the purpose of the default code could it be low gas pressure?

there should be a chart on heater showing the different fault codes....look ..to see what code you have...

I would unplug heater for a few moments ..plug back in ...watch operation to see why it is failing.....power vent starts,,ignitor glows,,,pilot.proves,,,burnners come on till water is up to temp...burnners shut off.. normal cycle

i did that power vent came on for ten seconds shut down nothing else comes on blinks gas valve fault code

did you check roll out safty switch at bottom of tank....did you make sure vent is not obstructed... if these ckeck ok ..looks like bad valve..... picture of power vent would help

Is it a tankless? Propane? We had this problem with a tankless when a guy was feeding it from a 5 gallon barbecue propane tank, and the regulator failed due to too high of demand through it.
