water flow problem

Good Afternoon (at least here in my world),

I replaced the faucet in my 1st floor bathroom and am having a little issue with water flow. The cold water runs fine, no issues at all. The hot water, on the other hand, has a mind of its own. When I turn the faucet on, the water comes out with great pressure but then there is a little "hiccup" and the water pressure cuts to a dribble or cuts off.

I searched the forums and have tried several of the answers, but have had no luck. I checked the washers in the faucet (even though it is new) and all seem to be in order, I took the supply line off and ran a little water through it just in case there was something in the line and got nothing. I also tried opening the hot water faucets on every level but have not had any luck.

Any help or thoughts would be appreciated. Could be an airlock and maybe I am not trying to correct it the right way?

Thanks.
