Water Flow/Pressure

Curious to know if I were to replace certain runs of 1/2" CPVC with 3/4" or even 1" if water flow and or pressure would increase at specified locations.

I'm on a well with above groung well pump. From holding/pressure tank the CPVC downgrades from 3/4" to 1/2" to cold water supply. A cold line runs to the boiler for hot water. All fittings there are obviously 1/2" copper in/out of boiler, then back to CPVC to supply HW to home.

My initial thought would be yes the water flow would increase due to larger capicity of the larger CPVC. But for hot water going through a bottleneck at the boiler from the projected 3/4" to 1/2" and back to 3/4", would flow be disturbed enough to not have a benefit of changing to larger pipe?

Water Flow/Pressure

If you reduce the size anywhere it will reduce the flow. The pressure does not change with pipe size but may with increased flow.
