water filtration

I would like to install some sort of filtration system between my pressure tank and the house. Not nessasarily to make the water drinkable, but usable (remove odor and debree). Any thoughts?

It's really essential when you're on a private well. Cuno makes all kinds and sizes of dirt/sediment filters. Check with local distributors, though - it's best to install whatever brand they carry so you know you can get replacement filter cartridges.
