Hi,
I recently removed my laundry pump in my basement. At the time, I did not have a proper cap to cap the vent pipe, so I temporarily covered it with a clear plastic bag until I could get a proper cap.
When I went to install the proper cap, I noticed that water had accumulated in the plastic bag. Is this rain/snow water that is making its way down through the vent pipe on the roof, or is it just condensation from some air getting up into the pipe? I would hate to cap it just to have it fill up with water.
Thanks
Rosy
