Washing Macine Laundry Sink Drain


Does this photo represent an acceptable way to drain washing machine and laundry sink? Assuming that vent is within 5' of sink p trap and line is 2"

That looks good to me, but I never was super good at doing drains. I always remember "Never wash a major past a minor" and so in that respect your doing good.

that would be a horizontal wet vent, which is illegal in my code
