washing machine water hammer

I recently installed a new front loading LG washing machine, and one of the "features" is to adjust the water level to the amount of clothes. It does this by adding water a little at a time until it figures out how much it needs. Ie, it opens and closes the fill valve 3-5 times per wash, creating an annoying amount of water hammer in the process.

PSI is at about 50, and there are brand new (4") Oatey Water Hammer Arrestors on each hot and cold taps right before the washing machine water hose, which apparently does absolutely nothing.

Any suggestions?

Can you get to the pipes that are hammering? I believe if you put enough hangers and brackets on water lines they won't hammer.

Does this happen on both cold and hot?

yes, both hot and cold taps seem to do it (when you call for cold wash or hot wash)

High pressure, low pressure, high, low, high, low, will certainly cause a pipe to move back and forth and 'bang'.
Find the culprit and secure it, as I don't think you want to exchange the new washer......
Does it bang in that room or elsewhere in the home?

Of course, I could be totally wrong......
