Washing machine backs up when draining

I have just installed a new front load washing machine, and when it is on rinse, it backs up out of the discharge hose....I feel as if the water is not able to get away quick enough.....it is all new 1.5" pipeing. I do not have the pipeing vented....could this be my problem ? And if so, I cannot vent to the outside....can I just vent into the laundry room ? Any venting would be after the trap.
Thanks
Ric k

Washing machine backs up when draining

Ben...I will take some pics of the connections from the washer to the drain pipe. This is all hooked into a sink that has a trap before the washer discharge pipe. The reason I can't vent to the outside is there is an apt. directly above the laundry room....venting to the outside is virtually impossible. Thanks
